Budget AEKU disposable range picks under 60 in Malaysia (0.15 ohm dual mesh)
AEKU disposable range advice for Malaysia, covering shortfills, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
Budget matters in Malaysia, but with aeku disposable range the cheapest option is rarely the one that lasts. What surprised us most was how little the 1.2 Ω mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 55:45 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber.
Budget matters in Malaysia, but with aeku disposable range the cheapest option is rarely the one that lasts. If you take one thing from this page, make it the coil compatibility check. A device that needs a coil you cannot source locally becomes an expensive ornament within a month.
The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help. Flavour tracking stays consistent from the first day to roughly the 1.2 Ω mesh mark before the profile flattens and a swap makes sense. In Malaysia, availability of the 1.2 Ω mesh coil is the practical bottleneck, not the device itself.
The narrow bore mouthpiece is comfortable over long sessions and resists the condensation that gathers on narrower tips. Comparing this against a 55:45 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume. The 2.0 ml capacity is a genuinely useful middle ground: enough liquid for a long session without turning the device into a pocket problem.
The build quality on Wismec Reuleaux is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry. Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal. Charging over USB-C takes about 35 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries.
The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own. What surprised us most was how little the 1.2 Ω mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 55:45 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber. The Sunset Orange finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily.
Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all. For budget shoppers, the learning curve is shorter than the specification list suggests, and daily use is straightforward from the first charge. Flavour tracking stays consistent from the first day to roughly the 1.2 Ω mesh mark before the profile flattens and a swap makes sense.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Blue Raspberry Frost: sweet, tangy, described as sharp blue raspberry with a long cold finish. On a 55:45 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 1.2 Ω mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Malaysia
Availability in Malaysia is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 1.2 Ω mesh and the USB-C are both in stock before committing, and check that the magnetic contact matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and MYR rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
